The "More Fun Stuff" cut of Spider-Man: No Way Home is certainly fun, but it's still missing the deleted scene that would require a return to theaters. While Spider-Man: No Way Home re-release features around 12 minutes of new footage, the "Most Funniest Things" still lacks the one deleted scene that would require a massive return from the audience. While Tom Holland's Spider-Man has met and joined forces with live-action versions of Andrew Garfield and Webslinger's Tobey Maguire, Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker strangely hasn't gotten much screen time with Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin. As such, "The Funnier Things Version" version should have brought back a confirmed deleted scene where the two characters meet face to face at the Battle of the Statue of Liberty. In the "Funniest Things" version of Spider-Man: No Way Home, most of the new footage consists of jokes and amusing moments left on the cutting room floor. For example, both the DODC's investigation of Spider-Man and his time at school are expanded upon, and there's also a new scene with Matthew Murdock (aka Daredevil). There's also some additional conversation and jokes between Peter Parker's versions of Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire, and a new post-credits scene for No Way Home to replace the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness teaser. In short, there's nothing major in the “Most Fun Things” cut that adds or gives more depth to the No Way Home story. While the added jokes are quite funny and will likely be appreciated by many Spider-Man fans, previous behind-the-scenes featurettes prove that the new re-release could have reinstated a cut sequence between Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man and the Green Goblin where they would have fought. on Osborn's glider, giving them a direct exchange they didn't get on either.version of No Way Home. While completing this fight sequence between Tobey Maguire and Willem Dafoe would likely require some additional effects work, a new Green Goblin scene featuring Spider-Man's original fight could have been a big selling point for the re-release (and would have been well done). It is worth it).In both versions of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Men had reunion moments with all of their villains except Peter and Maguire's Green Goblin.Although the Goblin stabbed "Peter-2" in the back while trying to save him from an enraged "Peter-1", they never had any sort of direct interaction that this glider fight could have provided. It makes sense that the fight sequence was likely cut to make the Green Goblin feel more like a villain from Tom Holland's Spider-Man after Aunt May's murder. However, the missed exchange between Maguire and Dafoe is one of the few missed opportunities that "The Funniest Things" version could have fixed, making the re-release far bigger, exciting, and valuable than it really is.Save my name, email and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
